    Composition:

    1 capsule contains:

    charcoal active clarifying wood powder - 110 mg / 220 mg / 250 mg;

    capsules are hard gelatinous (black diamond dye - 0,7135%, iron oxide black - 1,3333%, titanium dioxide - 2%, gelatin - up to 100%).

    Description:

    Capsules No. 1 (at a dosage of 110 mg) or capsule No. 0 (at a dosage of 220 mg and 250 mg) with a black body and lid. The contents of the capsules are a powder of black color.

    Pharmacodynamics:

    Desintoxication, adsorbent. Characterized by a large surface activity, determining, the ability to bind substances, lowering the surface energy (without changing their chemical nature). It sorbs gases, toxins, alkaloids, glycosides, salts of heavy metals, salicylates, barbiturates and other compounds, reduces their absorption in the gastrointestinal tract (GIT) and promotes excretion from the body with feces. It weakly adsorbs acids and alkalis (including iron salts, cyanides, malathion, methanol, ethylene glycol). Does not irritate the mucous membranes. To develop the maximum effect, it is recommended to take immediately after intoxication or during the first hours, while it is necessary to create an excess of coal in the stomach (before it is washed) and in the intestine (after washing the stomach).Presence of food masses in the digestive tract requires administration in high doses, because the content of the digestive tract is sorbed by activated carbon and its activity decreases: Reducing the concentration of activated carbon in the medium promotes desorption of the bound substance and its absorption (re-rinsing of the stomach and application of activated charcoal are recommended to prevent resorption of the released substance). If intoxication is caused by substances involved in enterohepatic circulation (cardiac glycosides, indomethacin, morphine and other opioids), it is necessary to apply Activated carbon in a few days.

    Pharmacokinetics:

    In the digestive tract is not absorbed. It is deduced with kalovymi masses.

    Indications:

    Dyspepsia; diseases accompanied by processes of putrefaction and fermentation in the intestine (including flatulence), increased acidity and hypersecretion of gastric juice, diarrhea.

    As part of complex therapy: acute intoxications (including alkaloids, glycosides, heavy metal salts), diseases with toxic syndrome - food toxic infections, dysentery, salmonellosis, burn disease in the stage of toxemia and septicotoxemia, hyperazotemia (chronic renal failure),Hyperbilirubinemia (chronic and acute viral hepatitis, cirrhosis); allergic diseases.

    Preparation for X-ray and ultrasound studies (for reduction, gassing in the intestine).

    Contraindications:

    Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, ulcerative lesions of the gastrointestinal tract (including exacerbation of gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer, ulcerative colitis), bleeding from the gastrointestinal tract, intestinal atony, simultaneous use of antitoxic drugs, the effect of which develops after absorptionmethionine and etc.).

    Pregnancy and lactation:

    The use of the drug during pregnancy and breastfeeding is possible.

    Dosing and Administration:

    Inside, 1 hour before meals and taking other medicines, washing down with water. It is not recommended to drink with other liquids in order to avoid reducing the effectiveness of activated carbon.

    The average dose is 100-200 mg / kg / day (in 3 divided doses). Duration of treatment is 3-14 days, if necessary, a second course is possible after 2 weeks. Children are given an average of 50 mg / kg body weight 3 times a day, the maximum single dose to 200 mg / kg body weight.Children under 3 years and other patients with difficulty swallowing capsule can be opened, pour the contents of the capsule into a container and dilute with a small amount of water (do not use for dilution other liquids) and take in the form of a suspension.

    The course of treatment for acute diseases is 3-5 days, with allergic and other chronic diseases - up to 14 days. It is possible to conduct repeated courses on the recommendation of a doctor.

    In acute intoxication, treatment begins with a 10-20% gastric lavage with a suspension of activated charcoal (which is used for this purpose Activated carbon in powder for the preparation of a suspension), then they switch to oral administration - up to 20-30 g / day.

    With dyspepsia, flatulence - 1-2 g 3-4 times a day. The course of treatment is 3-7 days.


    In diseases accompanied by fermentation and putrefaction in the intestine, with increased secretion of gastric juice, adults are prescribed - 8-10 g 3 times a day in intervals between meals, children under 7 years - 4-5 g, 7-14 years - for 5-7 grams per     reception.
    Side effects:

    Dyspepsia, constipation or diarrhea; with prolonged use - hypovitaminosis, a decrease in absorption from the gastrointestinal tract of nutrients (fats, proteins), hormones.

    Overdose:Cases of overdose are not described.
    Interaction:

    Activated charcoal reduces the absorption and efficacy of drugs taken orally simultaneously with it; reduces the activity of drugs, acting in the lumen of the stomach.

    Special instructions:

    It is recommended to store in a dry place, separate from substances emitting gases or vapors into the atmosphere. Storage in air (especially in a humid environment) reduces sorption capacity. Keep out of the reach of children.

    Effect on the ability to drive transp. cf. and fur:

    The drug does not affect the ability to drive vehicles, service moving mechanisms and engage in other potentially hazardous activities that require increased concentration and speed of psychomotor reactions.

    Form release / dosage:

    Capsules 110 mg, 220 mg and 250 mg.

    Packaging:

    By 5, 6, 10, 12, 15, 20 capsules in a contour mesh box made of polyvinylchloride film and aluminum foil printed lacquered.

    For 1,2, 3, 4, 5 contour mesh packages together with the instruction for use are placed in a pack of cardboard.

    Storage conditions:

    In dry, dark place at a temperature of no higher than 25 ° C.

    Shelf life:

    2 years.
