Description:Capsules of gelatinous spherical form of red color, without deposits and mechanical impurities, are filled with oily liquid from light yellow to dark yellow color, without rancid smell.

Pharmacodynamics:
Vitamin E is an antioxidant.
Protects the cellular membranes of body tissues from oxidative changes; stimulates the synthesis of heme and hemosoderzhaschih enzymes-hemoglobin, myoglobin, cytochromes, catalase, peroxidase. It inhibits the oxidation of unsaturated fatty acids. Inhibits the synthesis of cholesterol. Prevents hemolysis of erythrocytes, increased permeability and fragility of capillaries, disruption of the function of the seminiferous tubules and testicles, placenta, normalizes reproductive function; prevents the development of atherosclerosis, degenerative-dystrophic changes in the heart muscle and skeletal muscles.

Indications:

Hypovitaminosis E. Complex therapy: weweчнdystrophies, dermatomyositis, atherosclerosis, myocardial dystrophies, menstrual disorders, the threat of abortion, disorders of the sexual glands in men, dermatoses, psoriasis.

They are also used as an antioxidant in order to prevent negative consequences of living in regions with an unfavorable ecological situation.

Contraindications:

Increased individual sensitivity to components of the drug, acute period of myocardial infarction, childhood.

Carefully:

Hypoprothrombinemia, an increased risk of thromboembolism, severe cardiosclerosis, a previous myocardial infarction.

Pregnancy and lactation:Taking the drug during pregnancy and breastfeeding on the recommendation of a doctor.
Dosing and Administration:

Is taken orally after a meal.

Inside for 100-300 mg / day; if necessary, up to 1 g / day.

In diseases of the neuromuscular system - 100 mg per day for 1-2 months. Repeated courses in 2-3 months.

With violations of spermatogenesis - 100-300 mg per day in combination with hormonal therapy for a month.

When threatening abortion - 100 mg per day for 7-14 days, with the usual abortion and deterioration of fetal development - 100 mg per day for the first 2-3 months of pregnancy every day or every other day.

With peripheral vascular diseases, myocardial dystrophy, atherosclerosis-at 100 mg per day (with vitamin A) for 20-40 days, after 3-6 months the course of treatment can be repeated.

In dermatology - 100 mg per day for 20-40 days.

Side effects:

Allergic reactions, dyspepsia are possible.

Overdose:

Symptoms: when taken for a long period in doses of 400-800 units / day. (1 mg = 1.21 ME) - blurred vision, dizziness, headache, nausea, fatigue, diarrhea, gastralgia, asthenia; when taking more than 800 units / day. for a prolonged period - an increased risk of bleeding in patients with hypovitaminosis K, a disorder of thyroid hormone metabolism, a sexual function disorder, thrombophlebitis, thromboembolism, necrotic colitis, sepsis, hepatomegaly, hyperbilirubinemia, renal failure, hemorrhagic stroke, hemorrhagic stroke, ascites .

Treatment: symptomatic, withdrawal of the drug, the appointment of glucocorticosteroids.

Interaction:

Enhances the effect of glucocorticosteroids, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, cardiac glycosides. Reduces the effectiveness and toxicity of vitamins A and D. Increases the effectiveness of antiepileptic drugs in patients with epilepsy.

It is not recommended to simultaneously take other multivitamin complexes containing vitamin E in order to avoid an overdose.
