Description:

Soft gelatinous transparent capsules of light yellow oval form with a transparent, slightly yellowish oily content. A specific odor is allowed.

Pharmacodynamics:

It has antioxidant activity, biosynthesis of heme and proteins, cell proliferation, tissue respiration, and other vathe most important processes of tissue metabolism; prevents increased permeabilityand fragility of capillaries, development of atherosclerosis, degenerative-dystrophicchanges in the cardiac muscle and skeletal musculature; protects cells and tissues from damaging action excess amounts of free radicals and pockof products; stimulates synthesis of proteins and collagen; normalizes reproductivefunction.

Indications:
Treatment of Vitamin E hypovitaminosis
In complex therapy:

- muscular dystrophies, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis;

- degenerative and proliferative changes cystavov and ligamentous apparatus of the spine and large joints;

- menopausal (peri- and postmenopausal) disorders, accompanied by a violation of the menstrual cycle;

- hypofunction of the sexual glands in men;

- skin diseases (dermatosis, psoriasis)

Contraindications:
Increased individual sensitivity to the components of the drug, acute myocardial infarction, children under 18 years of age.
Carefully:Use in patients with severe cardiosclerosis who underwent myocardial infarction, with an increased risk of thromboembolism; hypoprothrombinemia caused by vitamin K deficiency.
Pregnancy and lactation:The drug is contraindicated during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Dosing and Administration:

Inside adults 1 capsule per day with a small amount of water during or after a meal. The course of treatment on the recommendation of a doctor.

Side effects:

In rare cases, allergic reactions (itching, skin flushing), dyspepsia.

Overdose:

When taking vitamin E for a long period in doses of 400-800 IU / day: blurred vision, dizziness, headache, nausea, fatigue, diarrhea, gastralgia, asthenia.

If you take more than 800 IU / day for a long period, an increased risk of bleeding in patients with hypovitaminosis K, a disorder of thyroid hormone metabolism, a sexual function disorder, thrombophlebitis, thromboembolism, necrotic colitis, sepsis, renal failure, bleeding in the retina, hemorrhagic stroke , ascites.

Treatment: symptomatic, withdrawal of the drug, the appointment of glucocorticosteroids.

Interaction:

Simultaneous intake of large doses of vitamin A E with iron, vitamin K or anticoagulants (drugs that prevent coagulation), increases clotting time. Vitamin E enhances effect of glucocorticosteroids, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, cardiac glycosides. Increases the effectiveness of antiepileptic drugs in patients with epilepsy (who have increased blood levels of lipid peroxidation products). When Vitrum® Vitamin E is simultaneously taken with other vitamin-mineral preparations containing fat-soluble vitamins A, D and E, you should consult a doctor.

Packaging:30 or 60 capsules into a bottle of low density polyethylene with a screw cap of high density polyethylene and a safety valve made of foil with polystyrene. The bottle is glued with a transparent self-adhesive label, the bottle is tightened in polyethylene and, together with the instruction for use, is placed in a cardboard box.

12 or 24 capsules in a blister (a package of cellular contour) made of PVC / aluminum foil. One or two blisters together with instructions for use are placed in a cardboard box.
