    In 1 ml of solution contains:

    active substance: calcium chloride hexahydrate (calcium chloride) -100 mg;

    auxiliary substance: water for injections.

    Description:Colorless transparent liquid.
    Pharmacotherapeutic group:Calcium-phosphorus exchange regulator
    ATX: & nbsp

    B.05.X.A   Electrolyte solutions

    B.05.X.A.07   Calcium chloride

    Pharmacodynamics:

    The preparation of calcium replenishes the deficiency of calcium ions necessary for the process of nerve impulse transmission, reduction of skeletal and smooth muscles, myocardial activity, bone formation, blood coagulation, and decreases the permeability of the vascular wall.With intravenous injection stimulates the sympathetic division of the autonomic nervous system, enhances the secretion of epinephrine by the adrenal glands, and has a moderate diuretic effect.

    Indications:

    - Increased need for calcium (pregnancy, lactation period, period of increased body growth);

    - bleeding of various etiology and localization (pulmonary, gastrointestinal, nasal, uterine, etc.);

    - allergic diseases (serum sickness, urticaria, febrile syndrome, itching, angioedema);

    - asthma, degenerative nutritional edema, spazmofiliya, tetany, pulmonary tuberculosis, rickets, osteomalacia, lead colic;

    - hypoparathyroidism, hypocalcemia, increased vascular permeability (hemorrhagic vasculitis, radiation sickness), parenchymatous hepatitis, toxic hepatitis, nephritis, eclampsia, uterine inertia, poisoning magnesium salts, oxalic acid and fluoric acid;

    - paroxysmal myoplegia (hyperkalemic form);

    - inflammatory and exudative processes (pneumonia, pleurisy, adnexitis, endometritis and other);

    - eczema, psoriasis.

    Contraindications:

    Hypersensitivity, a tendency to thrombosis, severe atherosclerosis, hypercalcemia.

    Carefully:Childhood.
    Dosing and Administration:

    Intravenously slowly drip at a rate of 6 drops per minute, diluted in 100-200 ml of isotonic sodium chloride solution or 5% glucose solution, or struino during 3-5 minutes. When administered intravenously, a single dose for adults is 0.5-1.5 g of calcium, for children - 0.5-1.0 g. The frequency and duration of application is determined individually.

    Side effects:

    With intravenous administration there is a feeling of heat, hyperemia of the skin of the face, bradycardia. With rapid administration, ventricular fibrillation can occur.

    Local reactions (with intravenous administration): pain and congestion along the vein.

    Interaction:

    With simultaneous application reduces the effect of calcium channel blockers, enhances the effect of antihistamines, increases the cardiotoxic effect of cardiac glycosides.

    Special instructions:

    With the intravenous administration of calcium chloride, a sensation of heat appears first in the oral cavity, and then throughout the body (previously used to determine the rate of blood flow - the time between the moment of itintroduction into a vein and the appearance of a sensation of heat).

    Effect on the ability to drive transp. cf. and fur:Not studied.
    Form release / dosage:Solution for intravenous administration is 100 mg / ml.
