The volume of water for injection; used for dissolution or dilution depends on the required concentration of solution, dose and route of administration, according to the recommendations of the manufacturer set out in the "Instructions for use of the drug".
Preparation of solutions for parenteral administration using water for injection should be carried out in strict compliance with aseptic rules (opening ampoules, filling the syringe and containers with the drug). After the addition of water for injection, wait for the dissolution of the drug, or achieve a uniform distribution of the slurry (in the preparation of the suspension), or mixed when diluting the concentrates. The diluted or diluted drug should be visually inspected, prior to administration, for undissolved particles, unwanted precipitates, or discoloration of the solution. When storing forms for parenteral administration prepared with Water for Injection, follow the instructions of the Instruction for the Use of Medicinal Products.
