Active substance: ginkgo bilobate leaf extract dry (35-67: 1) - 80.0 mg, corresponding to 17.6 to 21.6 mg / tablet of ginkgo-flavonoglycosides and 4.0 to 5.6 mg / tablet of terpenactones.

Excipients: lactose monohydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, corn starch, sodium carboxymethyl starch, silicon dioxide colloid, magnesium stearate; composition of the shell - lactose monohydrate, hypromellose, macrogol 4000, titanium dioxide, iron dye oxide yellow.

Description:

Pharmacodynamics:

Increases tolerance to hypoxia, especially in brain tissues; inhibits the development of traumatic or toxic edema of the brain; helps to strengthen and increase the elasticity of the vascular wall; prevents platelet aggregation, inhibits the platelet activation factor, improves the rheological properties of the blood, thereby improving microcirculation, supplying the brain and peripheral tissues with oxygen and glucose; improves memory and increases efficiency.

Pharmacokinetics:

A study of the pharmacokinetics of the preparation in an animal experiment, using a radioactively labeled extract, showed that its absorption rate in rats was about 60%.

Clinical pharmacokinetic study showed that the absolute bioavailability in humans for ginkgolide A is 98-100%, for ginkgolide B 79-93% and for bilobalide - at least 70%.

Indications:

Symptomatic therapy of organically caused functional disorders of cerebral circulation in the elderly, accompanied by memory impairment, decreased ability to concentrate, reduced intellectual capacity, dizziness, tinnitus, headaches;
violations of peripheral circulation (intermittent claudication);
dizziness, noise in the ears for violations of vascular and involutional genesis.

Contraindications:Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug; reduced blood clotting, erosive gastritis, peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum in the period of exacerbation; acute disorders of cerebral circulation, acute myocardial infarction, children under 12 years of age (due to the lack of sufficient clinical data).

Pregnancy and lactation:Due to the lack of sufficient clinical data, the use of the drug during pregnancy and breastfeeding is not recommended.

Dosing and Administration:

Tablets are taken orally, after eating, without chewing and washing down with a sufficient amount of water.

Side effects:

Special instructions:
