    Composition:

    100 g of ointment contains:

    active substance: dexpanthenol in terms of 100% substance 5 g;

    Excipients: vaseline, paraffin liquid, almond oil, beeswax white, lanolin, cetostearyl alcohol [cetyl alcohol 60%, stearic alcohol 40%], lanolin alcohol, purified water.

    Ointment from white with a yellowish tinge to light yellow color, with a specific smell.

    Pharmacodynamics:

    Vitamin B - a derivative of pantothenic acid. Dexpanthenol passes into the body in pantothenic acid, which is an integral part of coenzyme A and participates in the processes of acetylation, carbohydrate and fat metabolism, in the synthesis of acetylcholine, corticosteroids, porphyrins; stimulates regeneration of the skin, mucous membranes, normalizes cellular metabolism, accelerates mitosis and increases the strength of collagen fibers. It has a regenerating, metabolic and weak anti-inflammatory effect.

    Pharmacokinetics:

    When topically applied quickly absorbed by the skin and converted to pantothenic acid, binds to plasma proteins (mainly with beta-globulin and albumin). Its concentration in the blood is 0.5-1 mg / l, in the blood serum - 100 μg / l. Pantothenic acid is not metabolized in the body (except for inclusion in Co-A) is displayed unchanged.

    Indications:

    - Dry skin;

    - Treatment of damaged skin: minor injuries, burns (including sun damage), abrasions, bullous dermatitis, abscess, furuncle, trophic ulcers of the leg, bedsores, cracks, aseptic postoperative wounds, poorly engrafted skin grafts;

    - treatment and prevention of cracks and inflammations of the nipples of the breast during lactation;

    - treatment and prevention of diaper rash in infants.

    Contraindications:

    Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.

    Pregnancy and lactation:

    Pantoderm® can be used during pregnancy and lactation.

    Dosing and Administration:

    Outwardly.

    Ointment is applied to the damaged or inflamed skin area once or several times a day.

    Breast Care for Nursing Mothers: ointment applied to the nipples after each feeding; can be used as a compress.

    Babysitting: ointment is applied at each change of a diaper (diaper).

    Side effects:

    Allergic reactions.

    Overdose:

    Cases of overdose are not marked.

    Interaction:
