    Composition:Active substance:
    Hydrogen peroxide is medical - from 7.5 to 11.0 g, depending on the actual hydrogen content of the peroxide in the starting material (equivalent to 3 g hydrogen peroxide);
    Excipients:
    sodium benzoate-0.05 g; purified water up to 100 ml.

    D.08.A.X.01   Hydrogen Peroxide

    Pharmacodynamics:
    Antiseptic from the group of oxidants. When hydrogen peroxide contacts the damaged skin or mucous membranes, an active oxygen, with the mechanical purification and inactivation of organic substances (proteins, blood, pus). Antiseptic action is not sterilizing, with its use there is only a temporary decrease in the number of microorganisms. Abundant foaming promotes thrombus formation and stopping bleeding from small vessels.
    Indications:Inflammatory diseases of the mucous membranes, purulent wounds, capillary bleeding from superficial wounds, nasal bleeding. For disinfection and deodorization: stomatitis, tonsillitis, gynecological diseases.
    Contraindications:Hypersensitivity.
    Dosing and Administration:

    Outer in the form of a 3% solution. Locally (on the mucous membranes) in the form of 0.25% solution.

    To obtain a 0.25% solution, the drug is diluted with water in a ratio of 1:11. The undiluted solution should not be used to treat mucous membranes!

    Damaged areas of skin or mucous membranes are treated with a cotton or gauze swab moistened with a solution of the drug or watered with a jet. Tampons should be kept tweezers!

    Side effects:

    There may be a burning sensation when handling the wound. With prolonged local application, irritation, allergic reactions are possible.

    Special instructions:

    It is not recommended to use the drug for occlusive dressings. Avoid contact with eyes! Do not apply to irrigation cavities!

    It is unstable in alkaline environment, in the presence of alkali metals, complex radicals of some oxidants, as well as in light and heat.

    Treatment of wound 3 % solution of hydrogen peroxide does not guarantee against infection with tetanus and other wound infection.

    Form release / dosage:

    Solution for local and external use 3%.

    Packaging:Solution for local and external use 3% of 40 ml, 50 ml or 100 ml in bottles of orange glass. Each vial with instructions for use is placed in a pack or bottles with an equal number of instructions for use placed in boxes of cardboard. 5 kg per can in cans of polyethylene with instructions for use (for hospitals).
    Storage conditions:

    In the dark place at a temperature of no higher than 15 ° C.

    Keep out of the reach of children.

    Shelf life:

    2 years. Do not use after expiry date.
