    Composition:

    Active substance: hydrogen peroxide, from 7.5 to 11 g, depending on the actual hydrogen content of the peroxide in the starting material.

    Excipients: sodium benzoate - 0.05 g, water purified to 100 ml.

    D.08.A.X.01   Hydrogen Peroxide

    Pharmacodynamics:

    Antiseptic from the group of oxidants. When hydrogen peroxide contacts the damaged skin or mucous membranes, an active oxygen, with the mechanical purification and inactivation of organic substances (proteins, blood, pus). Antiseptic action is not sterilizing, when applied, a temporary decrease in the number of microorganisms occurs. Abundant foaming contributes to thrombosis and stop bleeding from small vessels.

    Indications:

    Inflammatory diseases of the mucous, purulent wounds, capillary bleeding from superficial wounds, nosebleeds. For disinfection and deodorization: stomatitis, tonsillitis, gynecological diseases.

    Contraindications:

    Hypersensitivity.

    Dosing and Administration:

    Apply externally and topically as a 3% solution. On the mucous membranes, 0.25% solution is applied. To obtain a 0.25% solution, the drug is diluted with water in a ratio of 1:11. The undiluted solution should not be used to treat mucous membranes! Damaged areas of skin or mucous membranes are treated with a cotton or gauze swab moistened with a solution of the drug or watered with a jet. Tampons should be kept tweezers!

    Side effects:

    Burning at the time of wound treatment, allergic reactions.

    Special instructions:

    It is not recommended to use the drug for occlusive dressings.

    Avoid contact with eyes!

    Do not apply to irrigation cavities!

    It is unstable in alkaline environment, in the presence of alkali metals, complex radicals of some oxidants, as well as in light and heat.

    Treatment of the wound with a 3% solution of hydrogen peroxide does not guarantee against infection with tetanus and other wound infection.

    Packaging:
    25 ml, 40 ml, 50 ml, 100 ml in orange glass bottles with a screw neck, sealed with plastic caps and caps screwed from polymeric materials.
    100 ml in cans, bottles of orange glass with a screw mouth, sealed with aluminum caps with perforations.
    1000 ml "angro" in bottles BV-1000 orange glass, sealed with a screw cap polyethylene or ukuporennye caps aluminum with perforation.
    By 25 ml, 40 ml, 50 ml, 100 ml or 1000 ml ("angro") into the bottles of high-pressure polyethylene of unstabilized and

    Each vial, a jar with a capacity of up to 100 ml (inclusive), together with the instruction for use, is placed in a pack of cardboard or placed in a group package with an equal number of instructions for use. It is allowed to put the full text of the instruction on a pack instead of the instruction put in a pack.
