    Composition:

    Active substance:

    Hydrogen peroxide is medical - from 7.5 to 11 g, depending on

    of hydrogen peroxide in the starting material is equivalent to the hydrogen peroxide content of 3 g

    Excipients:

    Sodium benzoate 0.05 g

    Purified water - up to 100 ml

    D.08.A.X.01   Hydrogen Peroxide

    Pharmacodynamics:

    Antiseptic from the group of oxidants. Upon contact of hydrogen peroxide with damaged skin or mucous membranes, an active oxygen, with the mechanical purification and inactivation of organic substances (proteins, blood, pus). Antiseptic action is not sterilizing, when applied, a temporary decrease in the number of microorganisms occurs.

    Abundant foaming contributes to thrombosis and stop bleeding from small vessels.

    Pharmacokinetics:Not studied.
    Indications:

    Inflammatory diseases of the mucous membranes, purulent wounds, capillary bleeding from superficial wounds, nasal bleeding.

    For disinfection and deodorization: stomatitis, tonsillitis.

    Contraindications:Hypersensitivity.
    Pregnancy and lactation:

    The application is possible if the potential benefit to the mother exceeds the possible risk to the fetus or the baby.

    Dosing and Administration:

    Apply externally and topically in the form of 1-3% solution. Damaged areas of skin or mucous membranes are treated with a cotton or gauze swab moistened with a solution of the drug or watered with a jet. Tampons should be kept tweezers! On the mucous membranes, 0.25 % solution (3% solution diluted with water in a ratio of 1:11). The undiluted solution is not used to treat mucous membranes.

    Side effects:

    Burning at the time of wound treatment, allergic reactions.

    Overdose:

    No cases of overdose have been reported.

    Special instructions:

    It is not recommended to apply the drug under occlusive dressings.

    Avoid contact with eyes!

    Do not apply to irrigation cavities!

    It is unstable in an alkaline medium, in the presence of alkalis, of the complex radicals of certain oxidants, as well as in light and in heat.

    Form release / dosage:

    Solution for local and external use 3%.

    Packaging:

    To 25, 40, 100 ml in bottles of orange glass, sealed with stoppers, polyethylene and screwed caps or covers with screw-cap screws or caps, aluminum or caps screwed with polyethylene with sealing elements.

    To 25, 40, 50, 70, 90, 100 ml in polyethylene bottles, sealed with polymer caps and caps screwed on polyethylene.

    Each bottle together with the instruction for use is placed in a pack of cardboard box.

    Vials with equal number of instructions for use are placed in a group package (carton box).

    For 500 ml or 1 liter in polyethylene bottles, capped with caps screwed on polyethylene with instructions for use (for hospitals).

    For 1 liter in polyethylene terephthalate bottles, capped with caps screwed on polyethylene with instructions for use (for hospitals).

    By 3, 5, 10 and 20 liters of polyethylene cans with instructions for use (for hospitals).

    Storage conditions:

    In the dark place at a temperature of no higher than 25 ° C. Keep out of the reach of children.

    Shelf life:

    2 years. Do not use after expiry date.
