    Pharmacodynamics:Anticoagulant of direct action belongs to the group of medium-molecular heparins. With external application, it has a local antithrombotic, anti-exacerbation, moderate anti-inflammatory effect. It blocks the formation of thrombin, inhibits the activity of hyaluronidase, activates the fibrinolytic properties of the blood.Gradually released from the ointment and passing through the skin, heparin reduces the inflammatory process and has an antithrombotic effect, improves microcirculation and activates tissue metabolism, thereby accelerating the processes of resorption of hematomas and thrombi and reducing swelling of the tissues.
    Pharmacokinetics:Absorbed slightly.
    Indications:Prophylaxis and treatment of venous thrombophlebitis, postinjection and postinfusion phlebitis, hemorrhoids (including postpartum), elephantiasis, superficial periphlebitis, lymphangitis, superficial mastitis, localized infiltrates and edema, injuries and bruises (including muscle tissue, tendons , joints), subcutaneous hematoma.
    Contraindications:Hypersensitivity, ulcerative-necrotic processes, traumatic violation of the integrity of the skin.
    Carefully:Increased tendency to bleeding, thrombocytopenia.
    Pregnancy and lactation:No information.
    Dosing and Administration:Outer: a column of gel or ointment 3-10 cm long (0.5-1 g) is applied to the affected area (3-5 cm in diameter) 1-3 times a day.
    Rectal, with thrombosis of hemorrhoidal veins: rectal tampons or lavatory pads with ointment applied directly on the injured nodes and fixed with a bandage.For the same purpose, you can use a tampon soaked in ointment, which is injected into the anus. Course - 3-4 days.
    In the case of shin ulcers, gently lubricate the inflamed skin around the ulcer. Ointment is used 2-3 times a day, daily, until the disappearance of inflammatory phenomena (an average of 3 to 7 days, the possibility of a longer course of treatment is determined by the doctor).
    Side effects:Hyperemia of the skin, allergic reactions.
    Overdose:Due to low systemic absorption, an overdose is unlikely. To date, the overdose phenomenon with the use of heparin gel has not been described.
    With prolonged use on large surfaces, hemorrhagic complications are possible.
    Treatment: cancellation of the drug. If necessary, a heparin antagonist - protamine sulfate (1% solution) is used.
    Interaction:Do not prescribe locally with NSAIDs, tetracyclines, antihistamines.
    Special instructions:Do not apply to open wounds, mucous membranes, if there are purulent processes. The use of ointment is not recommended for deep venous thrombosis.
