    Pharmacodynamics:

    Troxerutin is a derivative of routine, has P-vitamin activity, venotonic, angioprotective, anti-edematous, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory action. Troxerutin participates in oxidation-reduction processes, blocks hyaluranidase, stabilizes hyaluronic acid of cell membranes and reduces permeability and fragility capillaries, increases their tone. Increases the density of the vascular wall, reduces exudation of the liquid part and diapedesis of blood cells. Reduces inflammation in the vascular wall, limiting the adhesion of platelets to its surface.

    Pharmacokinetics:

    When the gel is applied to the skin, the active substance quickly penetrates the epidermis, after 30 minutes it is found in the dermis, and after 2-5 hours - in the subcutaneous adipose tissue.

    Indications:

    - phlebeurysm;

    - chronic venous insufficiency with such manifestations as edema, pain, heaviness in the lower extremities;

    - superficial thrombophlebitis, periphlebitis, phlebothrombosis;

    - postthrombotic syndrome;

    - post-traumatic edema, hematomas;

    - prevention of complications after vein operations;

    - hemorrhoids.

    Contraindications:

    Hypersensitivity to trokserutinu or to any auxiliary substance of the drug.

    Violation of the integrity of the skin.

    Pregnancy and lactation:

    There is no evidence of adverse effects on the fetus and newborns. The drug can be used in the second and third trimester of pregnancy.

    Dosing and Administration:

    Apply externally.

    The gel is applied morning and evening to the skin in the area of ​​the lesion with the help of light massaging movements from the bottom up to its full absorption into the skin. If for any reason the use of the drug is missed, the patient can apply it at any time, observing the interval between treatment sessions of at least 10-12 hours.

    If necessary, the gel can be applied under the occlusive dressing.

    If after 6-7 days the symptoms of the disease worsen or do not go away, you should consult your doctor.

    Side effects:

    In rare cases, there are allergic reactions (redness of the skin, itching, rash). These symptoms quickly disappear after discontinuation of treatment.

    Overdose:

    Cases of overdose with topical application are not described.

    Interaction:

    There is no data on the interaction of troxerutin, in this dosage form, and other drugs.

    Special instructions:

    Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. After application, wash hands. Do not apply to open wounds!

    Effect on the ability to drive transp. cf. and fur:

    Troxerutin does not affect the ability to drive vehicles and perform work that requires an increased rate of psychomotor reactions.

    Form release / dosage:Gel for external use 2%.
    Packaging:By 20, 30, 40, 50 or 100 g in tubes aluminum.
    By 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 or 40 g in the banks of BPS type of glass mass with tight lids.
    Each tube together with the instruction for use is placed in a cardboard packaging (bundle).
    Storage conditions:

    At a temperature of 15 to 25 C in the dark place.

    Keep out of the reach of children.

    Shelf life:

    5 years.
