    Pharmacodynamics:

    Contains glycyrrhizic acid, licurazide, mucous substances, flavonoids. Glycyrrhizic acid has an anti-inflammatory effect, flavone glycoside-liquidoritide and 2,4,4-tri-oxycalcon have an antispasmodic effect.

    The drug has expectorant and moderate anti-inflammatory effect.

    Indications:

    As part of complex therapy used for treatment Infectious-inflammatory diseases of the respiratory tract.

    Contraindications:

    Diabetes mellitus, hypokalemia, individual intolerance.

    Carefully:

    Bronchial asthma.

    Pregnancy and lactation:

    Recommendations for FDA - Category B. It is used for physiologically occurring pregnancy and during lactation.

    Dosing and Administration:

    Children

    1-12 years: from ½ teaspoon to 1 dessert spoon 3-5 times / day.

    Adults

    1 tablespoon 3-5 times a day.

    The highest single dose: 1 tablespoon.

    The highest daily dose: 5 tablespoons.

    Side effects:

    With prolonged use, it is possible to develop peripheral edema.

    Allergic reactions.

    Overdose:

    Cases of overdose not described.

    Interaction:

    Hypokalemia with simultaneous use with cardiac glycosides, antiarrhythmics (quinidine).

    Special instructions:

    With long-term use, it is possible to develop violations of the electrolyte balance, functional disorders of cardiac activity.
