    Pharmacodynamics:
    The drug has an expectorant effect, primarily due to the presence of glycyrrhizin, which enhances the secretory function of the mucous membranes of the upper respiratory tract.

    Indications:
    Used in adults and children as an expectorant for diseases of the upper respiratory tract, accompanied by cough, mainly in the presence of poorly separated, thick and viscous secretion (especially in children and the elderly).

    Contraindications:
    Increased individual sensitivity to the components of the drug, pregnancy, lactation, bronchial asthma, gastritis, peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenal ulcer during the exacerbation.

    Carefully:
    patients with diabetes mellitus (due to the high sugar content of the drug); in children because of the presence of ethyl alcohol in its composition.

    Dosing and Administration:
    Dosing and Administration
    Inside the adult one teaspoon, previously diluted in a glass of water,
    3 times a day;
    Children under 2 years - 1-2 drops (previously diluted in 1 teaspoon of water)
    3 times a day;
    Children from 2 to 6 years - 2-10 drops (previously diluted in 1 teaspoon of water) Zraza per day;
    Children from 6 to 12 years - 50 drops (previously diluted in 1 teaspoon of water)
    3 times a day;

    In the presence of poorly separated sputum and to facilitate expectoration, an abundant warm drink is recommended.

    Side effects:
    Allergic reactions are possible; in some cases, there may be diarrhea (diarrhea). With long-term use with excess of the indicated dosages hypokalemia, increased arterial pressure, the appearance of peripheral edema due to disturbance of water-salt metabolism are possible.
