    cetylpyridinium chloride - 1.0 mg,

    polyacrylic acid 12.0 mg,
    trometamol - 22.2 mg,
    purified water - up to 1 g.

    A.06.A.A.02   Diphenhydramine

    Pharmacodynamics:The antiallergic effect of Psylo-Balsam® is associated with the presence in its composition of diphenhydramine hydrochloride, which is a blocker of .H1-histamine receptors and as a result quickly reduces itching, reduces pain, hyperemia, reduces the increased permeability of capillaries, tissue swelling; causes local anesthesia, due to which Psilo-Balsam® has a pleasant cooling effect. A special gel base protects the skin and leaves no visible trace.
    Pharmacokinetics:With topical application, absorption is insignificant, a violation of the integrity of the skin increases the absorption of the drug.
    Indications:Sun burns and burns of the 1st degree; insect bites; hives; itching of various origin (with the exception of pruritus with cholestasis): itching dermatoses, eczema, chicken pox, allergic skin irritations, contact dermatitis caused by contact with plants.
    Contraindications:Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug; simultaneous use of any drugs containing diphenhydramine; application on extensive skin surfaces; children's age up to 2 years.
    Carefully:Damage to skin at the application site, application to mucous membranes.
    Pregnancy and lactation:The use of the drug in pregnancy and lactation requires an assessment of the potential benefit to the mother and the possible risk to the fetus and the baby
    Dosing and Administration:Outwardly. Adults and children over 2 years of age Psilo-Balsam® are applied to affected areas of the skin (a strip of gel 3-5 cm long on the area of ​​the lesion the size of the palm) 3-4 times a day and distributed by light massaging movements.
    Side effects:
    Rarely, skin hypersensitivity reactions (eczema, contact dermatitis).
    With external application of the drug, systemic side effects were not observed
    Overdose:
    Symptoms: redness, moderate swelling of the area of ​​skin on which the drug was applied
    Treatment: rinse with water the area of ​​skin on which the drug was applied.
    Interaction:Cases of interaction or incompatibility with other drugs when using external forms of diphenhydramine are not described.
    Special instructions:
    Immediately after application of Psilo-Balsam® (within 1-2 hours), prolonged exposure to sunlight should be avoided to avoid the risk of photodermatosis.
    During treatment with Psylo-Balsam®, alcohol should be avoided.
