When treating erysipelas and trophic ulcers - in the form of 30-50% solution of 50-100 ml 2-3 times a day.
With eczema, diffuse streptodermia - compressors with 40-90% solution.
For local anesthesia with pain syndromes - 25-50% solution in the form of compresses of 100-150 ml 2-3 times a day.
For the skin of the face and other highly sensitive areas 10-20-30% solutions are used.
In skin and plastic surgery, bandages with 10-20% solution are applied to transplanted cutaneous auto- and gomotransplants immediately after operations and on subsequent days of the postoperative period until the transplant is permanently engrafted.
As preserving medium for storage of skin homotransplants, 5% solution is used in Ringer's solution.
Less concentrated solutions produce washing of purulent-necrotic and inflammatory foci and cavities.
