    Composition:

    To obtain the tincture use:

    Nights flower (calendula) - 100 g

    Ethanol (ethyl alcohol) 70% - a sufficient amount to get 1 liter.

    Description:Transparent liquid of a yellowish-brown color with a specific smell.
    Pharmacotherapeutic group:Antiseptic and anti-inflammatory agent of plant origin.

    Pharmacodynamics:

    Tincture of calendula has antiseptic, choleretic, antispasmodic and local anti-inflammatory effect.

    Indications:

    Apply externally as an antiseptic and anti-inflammatory agent for cuts, bruises, eczema; locally - for gargling with inflammatory diseases of the pharynx (tonsillitis, pharyngitis, laryngitis) and the oral mucosa (stomatitis, gingivitis, periodontitis).

    Inside tincture of calendula is used for cholecystitis, cholangitis.

    Contraindications:

    Increased individual sensitivity to the components of the drug.

    When ingestion - acute gastritis, peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum during an exacerbation, calculous cholecystitis, pregnancy, the period of breastfeeding, age to 18 years.

    Carefully:

    Liver diseases, alcoholism, craniocerebral trauma, brain diseases.

    Dosing and Administration:

    Outwardly, topically, inside.

    Sites with superficial lesions of the skin (cuts) are treated with tincture using a tampon. With bruises and eczema, apply an aqueous solution of tincture (1 teaspoon per glass of water) in the form of lotions. To rinse the throat and mucous membrane of the oral cavity use ½ - 1 cup of aqueous solution of the tincture.

    Inside 15 minutes before meals, apply 10-20 drops, diluted in ¼ cup water, 3 times a day.

    Side effects:

    Allergic reactions are possible (including skin itching). When ingestion - heartburn, nausea, bitterness in the mouth, increased pain in the abdomen.

    Overdose:

    To date, cases of overdose have not been reported.

    Interaction:

    Currently not studied.

    Special instructions:

    The content of absolute alcohol in the maximum single dose of the drug is 0.23 g, in a maximum daily dose of 0.7 g.

    Effect on the ability to drive transp. cf. and fur:

    During the period of treatment (with oral administration), care must be taken when driving vehicles and engaging in other potentially dangerous activities that require increased concentration and speed of psychomotor reactions.
