    Composition:

    For preparation of tincture it is necessary:

    Nails of flowers -100 g,

    Ethyl alcohol (standard) 70% - a sufficient amount to get 1 liter.

    Description:

    Transparent liquid from yellow-orange to light-brown color.

    Pharmacodynamics:

    Tincture of calendula has antiseptic, choleretic, antispasmodic and local anti-inflammatory effect.

    Indications:

    Apply externally as an antiseptic and anti-inflammatory agent for cuts, bruises, eczema; for gargling with inflammatory diseases of the upper respiratory tract (tonsillitis, pharyngitis, laryngitis, pharyngolaryngitis) and oral mucosa (stomatitis).

    Sometimes tincture of calendula is prescribed inside as a cholagogue.

    Contraindications:

    Acute gastritis, peptic ulcer of stomach and duodenum during exacerbation; calculous cholecystitis (with oral administration). Increased individual sensitivity to the components of the drug.

    When administered orally - pregnancy, lactation, age to 18 years.

    Dosing and Administration:

    Sites with superficial lesions of the skin (cuts) are treated with tincture using a tampon. With bruises and eczema, apply an aqueous solution of tincture (1 teaspoon per glass of water) in the form of lotions. To rinse the throat and mucous membrane of the oral cavity use ½ - 1 cup of aqueous solution of the tincture. Inside as a cholagogue for 10-20 drops before meals 3 times a day.

    Side effects:

    When ingestion - bitterness in the mouth, heartburn, nausea. Allergic reactions are possible.

    Packaging:

    For 25 ml and 50 ml or 100 ml in bottles of orange glass or bottles. Each bottle / bottle together with the instructions for use will be prevented in a pack of cardboard.

    Storage conditions:

    In a cool, dark place.

    Keep out of the reach of children.

    Shelf life:

    3 years.

    Do not use after the expiration date stated on the package.
