    Description:

    Whole or partially crumbled baskets up to 5 cm in diameter, without peduncles or with remains of peduncles not more than 3 cm in length. Wrapper is gray-green, one-two-row; Leaflets are linear, pointed, densely pubescent. Receptor slightly convex, naked. The marginal flowers are reed, 15-28 mm long, 3-5 mm wide. with a curved short pubescent tube, a three-toothed fold, twice as large as a wrapper and 4-5 veins. Flowers are arranged in 2-3 rows in non-macro and in 10-15 rows in terry forms. Pestle with a curved lower single-cavity ovary, a thin column and a two-bladed stigma. Median flowers tubular with a five-toothed corolla. The color of the marginal flowers is reddish-orange, orange, bright or pale yellow; median - orange, yellowish brown or yellow. The smell is weak. The taste of water extract is brackish-bitter.

    Pharmacodynamics:

    Marigold flowers contain carotenoids, flavonoids, triterpene saponins, resins, mucous substances, tannins, essential oil, organic acids, ascorbic acid, macro- and microelements and other biologically active compounds.

    Infusion of marigold flowers has a local anti-inflammatory, antiseptic and choleretic effect.

    Indications:

    Local infusion of marigold flowers is used for gargling with inflammatory diseases of the pharynx (tonsillitis, pharyngitis, laryngitis) and mucous membranes of the mouth (gingivitis, stomatitis, periodontitis).

    Inside, adults are used as a cholagogue for chronic gastritis, cholecystitis, cholangitis.

    Contraindications:

    Hypersensitivity to the drug, when administered orally - children's age (under 18 years), acute gastritis, peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenal ulcer during an exacerbation, calculous cholecystitis.

    Pregnancy and lactation:

    The use of the inside is possible after agreement with the attending physician.

    Dosing and Administration:

    About 10 g (5 tablespoons) of marigold flowers are placed in glass or enamel ware, pour 200 ml (1 glass) of hot boiled water, cover with a lid and insist on a boiling water bath for 15 minutes, then cool 45 minutes at room temperature, filter, remaining raw materials squeeze out. The volume of the infusion obtained is adjusted to 200 ml with boiled water.

    To rinse the mucous membrane of the mouth and throat, apply 1/2 to 1 glass 3-5 times a day infusion in a warm form.

    Inside take 1-2 tablespoons 2-3 times a day before meals. The course of treatment is 3-4 weeks.

    Before use, the infusion is recommended to be shaken.

    Side effects:

    Allergic reactions are possible. When taken orally, there may be a bitterness in the mouth, a burning sensation in the epigastric region, and pain in the abdomen.

    Overdose:

    Cases of overdose have not been registered to date.

    Interaction:Not described.
    Effect on the ability to drive transp. cf. and fur:The drug has no effect on the ability to perform potentially hazardous activities requiring increased concentration of attention and speed of psychomotor reactions (including driving, working with moving mechanisms).
