    Composition:

    Marigold flowers (calendula) - 100 g.

    Ethyl alcohol 70% (ethanol) - a sufficient amount to obtain 1000 ml of tincture.

    Description:

    Transparent liquid of a yellowish-brown color with a specific smell.

    Pharmacodynamics:

    Tincture of calendula has antiseptic, choleretic, antispasmodic and local anti-inflammatory effect.

    Indications:

    Apply externally as an antiseptic and anti-inflammatory agent for cuts, bruises, eczema; for gargling with inflammatory diseases of the upper respiratory tract, with angina, stomatitis, tonsillitis, pharyngitis, etc.

    Inside, the tincture of calendula is used as a choleretic agent (chronic gastritis, cholecystitis, cholangitis).

    Contraindications:

    Increased individual sensitivity to the components of the drug.When administered orally - pregnancy, lactation, age to 18 years.

    Dosing and Administration:

    Sites with superficial lesions of the skin (cuts) are treated with tincture using a tampon. With bruises and eczema, apply an aqueous solution of tincture (1 teaspoon per glass of water) in the form of lotions. To rinse the throat and mucous membrane of the oral cavity use ½ - 1 cup of aqueous solution of the tincture. Inside as a cholagogue for 10-20 drops before meals 3 times a day.

    Side effects:

    Allergic reactions are possible. When ingestion - heartburn, nausea, bitterness in the mouth, increased pain in the abdomen.
