    Composition:

    To obtain the tincture, you need:

    Nights of flowers -100 g

    Ethyl alcohol 70% (ethanol) - a sufficient amount to get 1 liter.

    Description:

    Transparent liquid is yellowish brown or greenish-brown in color with a specific odor.

    Pharmacodynamics:

    Tincture of calendula has antiseptic, choleretic, antispasmodic and local anti-inflammatory effect.

    Indications:

    Apply externally as an antiseptic and anti-inflammatory agent for cuts, bruises, eczema; locally - for gargling with inflammatory diseases of the upper respiratory tract (tonsillitis, pharyngitis, laryngitis, pharyngolaryngitis) and oral mucosa (stomatitis).

    Inside tincture of calendula is used for cholecystitis, cholangitis.

    Contraindications:

    Increased individual sensitivity to the components of the drug.

    When administered orally - acute gastritis, peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum during an exacerbation, calculous cholecystitis, pregnancy, lactation, age under 18 years.

    Carefully:

    With caution (when administered orally) - liver disease, alcoholism, craniocerebral trauma, brain disease.

    Dosing and Administration:

    Outwardly, topically, inside.

    Cuts are treated with a tampon; with bruises and eczema, apply an aqueous solution of tincture (1 teaspoon per 1 glass of water) in the form of lotions; for gargling of the throat and mucous membrane of the oral cavity ½-1 glass of aqueous solution of the tincture; inside (as a cholagogue) - 10-20 drops, before meals, 3 times a day.

    Side effects:

    Allergic reactions are possible. When ingestion - heartburn, nausea, bitterness in the mouth, increased pain in the abdomen.

    Effect on the ability to drive transp. cf. and fur:The maximum daily dose of the drug contains 0.7 g of absolute ethyl alcohol, which should be taken into account when you need to manage the car and work with moving mechanisms.
