    Description:

    Pharmacodynamics:

    Nails flower contains carotenoids, flavonoids, triterpene saponins, resins, mucous substances, tannins, essential oil, organic acids, ascorbic acid, macro- and microelements and other biologically active substances.

    Infusion of marigold flowers has anti-inflammatory, antiseptic and choleretic effect.

    Indications:

    Locally infusion of marigolds is used to rinse the throat with inflammatory diseases of the pharynx (tonsillitis, pharyngitis, laryngitis) and the oral mucosa (stomatitis, gingivitis, periodontitis).

    Inside, adults are used as a cholagogue for chronic gastritis, cholecystitis, cholangitis.

    Contraindications:

    Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, when administered orally - children's age (under 18 years), acute gastritis, peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenal ulcer during an exacerbation, calculous cholecystitis.

    Pregnancy and lactation:

    The application is possible if the expected benefit for the mother exceeds the potential risk to the fetus and the baby. It is necessary to consult a doctor.

    Dosing and Administration:

    About 10 grams (5 tablespoons) of marigold flowers are placed in enamel ware, pour 200 ml (1 cup) of boiling water, cover and heat in a boiling water bath for 15 minutes, cool at room temperature for 45 minutes, filter. The remaining raw material is squeezed out, the volume of the obtained infusion is brought to boiling water to 200 ml.

    To rinse the mucous membrane of the mouth and throat, apply 1 / 2-1 glass infusion 3-5 times a day in a warm form.

    Inside 1-2 tablespoons 2-3 times a day before meals. The course of treatment is 3-4 weeks, if necessary - 6 weeks.

    Allergic reactions are possible. When taken orally, there may be a feeling of bitterness in the mouth, a burning sensation in the epigastric region; stomach ache.
