    Composition:

    For the preparation use:

    Marigold flowers -100 g.

    Ethyl alcohol 70% (ethanol) - a sufficient amount to obtain 1 liter of tincture.

    Description:

    Transparent liquid of a yellowish-brown color with a specific smell.

    Pharmacodynamics:

    Calendula tincture has antiseptic, choleretic, antispasmodic and local anti-inflammatory effect.

    Indications:

    Apply externally as an antiseptic and anti-inflammatory agent for cuts, bruises, eczema; for gargling with inflammatory diseases of the upper respiratory tract (tonsillitis, pharyngitis, laryngitis, pharyngolaryngitis) and oral mucosa (stomatitis).

    Sometimes calendula tincture is prescribed inside as a cholagogue.

    Contraindications:

    Increased individual sensitivity to the components of the drug.

    When administered orally - pregnancy, lactation, age to 18 years.

    Dosing and Administration:

    Sites with superficial lesions of the skin (cuts) are treated with tincture using a tampon. With bruises and eczema, apply an aqueous solution of tincture (1 teaspoon per glass of water) in the form of lotions. To rinse the throat and mucous membrane of the oral cavity, use a ½-1 glass of an aqueous solution of the tincture.

    Inside as a cholagogue for 10-20 drops before meals 3 times a day.

    Side effects:

    Allergic reactions are possible. When ingestion - heartburn, nausea.

    For 25 or 40 ml in a bottle of orange glass or in a bottle-dropper orange glass, placed in a pack of cardboard with instructions for use.
