Metabolic agent, a precursor of adenosine triphosphate; has antihypoxic, metabolic and antiarrhythmic effects. It takes a direct part in the exchange of glucose and promotes the activation of metabolism in conditions of hypoxia and in the absence of adenosine triphosphate. Activates the metabolism of pyruvic acid to ensure a normal process of tissue respiration, and also promotes the activation of xanthine dehydrogenase.Stimulates the synthesis of nucleotides, enhances the activity of certain enzymes of the Krebs cycle. Penetrating into cells, increases the energy level, has a positive effect on the metabolic processes in the myocardium - increases the strength of the contractions of the heart and promotes more complete relaxation of the myocardium in diastole, resulting in an increased shock volume.
