    Description:

    Whole, cleared from sepals and stems, false fruits of various shapes - from spherical, ovate or oval to highly elongated spindle-shaped; length of fruit 0.7 - 3 cm, diameter - 0.6 - 1.7 cm.At the top of the fruit there is a small round hole or pentagonal platform.

    The color of the fruit is from orange-red to brownish-red, brownish-black, the nuts are light yellow, sometimes brownish. The smell is absent. The taste of water extract is sour-sweet, slightly astringent.

    Pharmacodynamics:

    Pharmacological action of the drug is due to the presence of a complex of biologically active substances, including. vitamins C and P, organic acids, flavonoids. Infusion fruit rose has a general strengthening effect, stimulates nonspecific resistance of the body, enhances tissue regeneration, reduces vascular permeability, takes part in carbohydrate and mineral metabolism, synthesis of hormones, has anti-inflammatory properties. Has immunostimulating (in respect of humoral and cellular immunity) and some choleretic action.

    Indications:

    Prevention of hypovitaminosis C and P; as part of complex therapy: conditions accompanied by deficiency of vitamins C and P, including asthenic conditions,period of recovery after infectious and "catarrhal" diseases, surgical operations.

    Contraindications:

    Hypersensitivity to the drug, cholelithiasis, children under 6 months.

    Pregnancy and lactation:

    Application during pregnancy and lactation is possible. It is necessary to consult a doctor.

    Dosing and Administration:

    About 10 g (1 tablespoon) of rose hips are placed in enameled pots, pour 200 ml (1 cup) of hot boiled water, cover with a lid and heat in a boiling water bath for 15 minutes, then cool 45 minutes at room temperature, filter, the remaining raw material is squeezed . The volume of the infusion obtained is adjusted to 200 ml with boiled water.

    Is ingested in a warm form: adults and children over 12 years of age - by 1/2 glass 2 times a day after meals, children from 6 to 12 years - 1/4 cup 2 times a day; from 3 to 5 years - 2 tablespoons 2 times a day; from 1 year to 2 years - 1 tablespoon 2 times a day; children from 6 months to 1 year - 1-2 teaspoons a day. The course of treatment is 3-4 weeks.

    Before use, the infusion is recommended to be shaken.
