    Pharmacodynamics:

    It contributes to the increase of nonspecific resistance of the organism, to the enhancement of tissue regeneration, to the reduction of vascular permeability, participates in carbohydrate and mineral metabolism, and possesses choleretic properties. Pharmacological properties of the drug are due to the presence of ascorbic acid and other substances (carotenoids, flavonoids, organic acids, etc.) that make up its composition.

    Indications:

    Hypovitaminosis C, complex therapy of asthenic conditions; period of recovery after infectious, including, "catarrhal" diseases.

    Contraindications:

    Increased individual sensitivity to the drug components, cholelithiasis, children under 2 years of age, sugar / isomaltase deficiency, fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption.

    Carefully:

    patients with diabetes mellitus (due to high sugar content in the drug).

    Pregnancy and lactation:

    Possible use during pregnancy and lactation. It is necessary to consult a doctor.

    Dosing and Administration:

    The drug is administered orally.

    Treatment: adults and children over 12 years - 1-2 tablespoons 2-3 times a day; children from 2 to 3 years old 1/2 a teaspoon, from 3 to 6 years - 1 teaspoon, from 6 to 12 years - 1 dessert spoon 2-3 times a day, washed down with water. The course of treatment is 15-30 days.

    Overdose:

    To date, no cases of overdose have been observed.

    Interaction:

    Due to the presence of ascorbic acid in the preparation, it is possible to: increase the absorption of drugs of the penicillin, tetracycline and iron group; decrease in the clinical effect of heparin and indirect anticoagulants; increased risk of developing crystalluria in the treatment of salicylates and sulfonamides; retardation of excretion of acids, including acetylsalicylic acid, by the kidneys; increase the excretion of drugs that have an alkaline reaction,including alkaloids; decrease in the concentration in the blood of oral contraceptives.

    Special instructions:

    For patients with diabetes: it should be noted that 1 teaspoon of syrup contains about 4.6 g of sucrose (0.38 XE), in 1 tablespoon - about 13.8 g of sucrose (1.15 XE).

    With the simultaneous use of Syrup of syrup with other multivitamin preparations, the content of ascorbic acid in its composition should be taken into account in order to avoid a possible overdose.

    The use of the drug does not affect the ability to drive vehicles and work with moving mechanisms.
