    Excipients:
    Soybean oil is refined or hydrated of the first grade.
    Retinol acetate, solution for oral ingestion contains in 1 ml 100,000 IU of vitamin A, and in one drop from the eye pipette 5000 IU of vitamin A.

    Description:Transparent oily liquid from light yellow to dark yellow without rancid smell.

    A.11.C.A.01   Retinol

    Pharmacodynamics:Vitamin A has a restorative effect, normalizes tissue metabolism; participates in oxidation-reduction processes (due to a large number of unsaturated bonds), in the synthesis of mucopolysaccharides, proteins, lipids, in mineral metabolism, and cholesterol formation processes. Strengthens the production of lipase and trypsin, enhances myelopoiesis, cell division processes. Has a positive effect on the function of lacrimal, sebaceous and sweat glands; increases resistance to diseases of mucous membranes, respiratory tract and intestines; increases the body's resistance to infection. It enhances the division of skin epithelial cells, rejuvenates the cellular population, inhibits keratinization processes, enhances the synthesis of glycosaminoglycans, activates the interaction of immunocompetent cells with each other and epidermal cells.Stimulates skin regeneration. Participates in the processes of photoreception (contributes to the adaptation of man to the dark). Local action is due to the presence on the cell surface of the epithelium of specific retinol-binding receptors.

    Indications:Hypovitaminosis, avitaminosis A. In complex therapy:
    Infectious-inflammatory diseases (measles, dysentery, influenza, tracheitis, bronchitis, etc.)
    and skin diseases (ichthyosis, hyperkeratosis, seborrheic dermatitis, psoriasis, neurodermatitis, some forms of eczema, skin tuberculosis),
    - eye diseases (pigment retinitis, hemeralopia, xerophthalmia, keratomalacia, eczematous lesions of the eyelids).
    - Gastrointestinal diseases (erosive gastroduodenitis, peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum).
    - Cirrhosis of the liver.

    Contraindications:Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, hypervitaminosis A, pregnancy, cholelithiasis, chronic pancreatitis, acute inflammatory skin diseases.

    Carefully:Use with caution in nephritis, heart failure II-III st.

    Dosing and Administration:The drug should be used under medical supervision. The drug is taken orally (10-15 minutes after eating) in the early morning or late evening.
    The highest single treatment dose for adults is 50000 ME, daily - 100000 ME; for children, respectively - 5000 ME and 20000 ME.
    With the therapeutic purpose for beriberi and mild avitaminosis, adults are prescribed up to 33000 ME per day (retinol acetate solution in oil 3.44% - 6 drops), children over 7 years of age - 5000 IU per day (1 drop of retinol acetate solution in oil 3.44%).
    In case of eye diseases, adults are prescribed 50000-100000 IU per day (a solution of retinol acetate in oil 3.44% - 10-20 drops) and simultaneously 0.02 grams of ribolavin.
    With skin diseases, adults are prescribed 50000-100000 ME retinol acetate per day and 5000 - 10,000-20,000 ME for children.



    Side effects:Prolonged daily intake of vitamin A can cause intoxication, hypervitaminosis A. Symptoms of hypervitaminosis A in adults - headache, drowsiness, lethargy, hyperemia of the face, nausea, vomiting, tenderness in the bones of the lower extremities, gait disturbance. Children may have: increased
    temperature, drowsiness, sweating, vomiting, skin rashes.

    Interaction:During prolonged therapy with tetracyclines, vitamin A is not recommended (the risk of developing intracranial hypertension increases).
    Salicylates and glucocorticosteroids reduce the risk of side effects.

    Special instructions:C use caution in acute and chronic nephritis, cardiac decompensation.
    Do not take other multivitamin complexes at the same time in order to avoid an overdose.

    Form release / dosage:A solution of oil 3.44%.

    Packaging:For 10, 15 ml in bottles of orange glass. Each bottle, together with the instructions for use, is placed in a pack of cardboard.
