    Composition:active substance: retinol palmitate (vitamin A) (in terms of 100%) - 5 mg;

    Excipients: Butyl hydroxytoluene 0.5 mg, butyl hydroxy anisole 0.25 mg, emulsion wax 80 mg, paraffin liquid 80 mg, glycerol 100 mg, ethanol 95% 100 mg, water purified before 1 g.

    Pharmacodynamics:Videastim® stimulates skin regeneration, enhances the multiplication of skin epithelial cells, inhibits keratinization, hinders the development of hyperkeratosis. Local action is due to the presence on the cell surface of the epithelium of specific retinol-binding receptors.
    Pharmacokinetics:Videstim ® easily penetrates the skin, the maximum concentration in the blood is reached 3-4 hours after application and is maintained for 12 hours. The half-life is 5.5 hours.
    Indications:Inflammatory diseases and skin conditions, accompanied by dryness and delayed healing: dermatitis, eczema, atopic dermatitis outside the exacerbation, cheilitis, cracks (including nipples of the mammary glands) and abrasions, age-related changes in the skin, and diseases associated with the violation of the keratinization processes. It is used to activate reparative processes in various dermatoses after cessation of treatment with glucocorticosteroid preparations.
    Contraindications:Increased individual sensitivity to the components of the drug, hypervitaminosis A, acute inflammatory skin diseases.
    Pregnancy and lactation:The use of the drug is possible in cases where the intended use for the mother exceeds the potential risk to the fetus or child.
    Dosing and Administration:Outwardly. Ointment is applied a thin layer on the affected skin areas 2 times a day: early in the morning and late at night. With a strong peeling of the skin, you can use an occlusive dressing. Before applying the ointment, cracks and abrasions are treated with antiseptics. On the cracked nipples in nursing mothers ointment applied 2 times a day, morning and evening, after feeding, with an interval of 12 hours. The mammary gland should be washed with warm water and soap before the next feeding after the application of Widestim® ointment.

    The duration of treatment depends on the nature of the disease and can be 4-12 weeks.

    Side effects:In some cases, itching and reddening of the skin in the areas of application of the preparation is possible, which requires its temporary cancellation to reduce the severity of the process. Allergic reactions are possible.
    Overdose:Not detected.
    Interaction:Do not use in combination with other drugs containing vitamin A and retinoids, to avoid hypervitaminosis A. Incompatible with tetracycline antibiotics.
    Effect on the ability to drive transp. cf. and fur:The drug does not affect the ability to drive and perform work that requires increased concentration.
    Form release / dosage:Ointment for external use 0,5%.
    Packaging:Aluminum tubes on 10, 15, 20 and 35 g. Each tube together with the instruction for use is placed in a pack of cardboard.
    Storage conditions:At a temperature of 2 to 8 0C. Do not allow freezing.

    Shelf life:5 years. Do not use after expiry date.
