    Composition:

    Herbaceous herb powder - 80%

    St. John's wort cut and pressed - 20%

    Description:

    A mixture of powder particles with pieces of cut-pressed grass of various shapes. Color from greyish-green to dark green and greenish-brown, with numerous white, yellowish-white, yellow, brown and dark brown patches. The smell is weak, peculiar. The taste of water extract is bitterish, slightly astringent.

    Pharmacodynamics:

    The herb of St. John's wort contains tannic substances, essential oil, triterpene saponins, vitamins C, E, flavonoids, anthraquinones, macro- and microelements and other biologically active substances.

    Infusion has astringent and anti-inflammatory effect.

    Indications:

    Inflammatory diseases of the oral mucosa (including gingivitis, stomatitis); chronic colitis (as part of complex therapy).

    Contraindications:

    Hypersensitivity to the drug, children under 12 years.

    When ingestion - pregnancy, the period of breastfeeding.

    Dosing and Administration:

    2 filter packs (3.0 g) are placed in a glass or enamel ware, pour 100 ml (1/2 cup) of boiling water, cover and insist for 15 minutes, periodically pressing on the bags with a spoon, then squeeze them. The volume of the infusion obtained is adjusted to 100 ml with boiled water.

    Take inside in a warm form for 1/2 cup 3 times a day for 30 minutes before meals. The course of treatment is 2-3 weeks.

    For rinses, apply 1/2 cup of warm infusion 3-4 times a day. The course of treatment is 5-10 days.

    Before use, the infusion is recommended to be shaken.

    Side effects:

    Allergic reactions are possible. In some cases, when taken orally - a photosensitizing effect (increased sensitivity of the skin to sunlight), with prolonged use, the infusion can cause unpleasant sensations in the liver (in the right upper quadrant) and a feeling of bitterness in the mouth.

    Overdose:

    To date, cases of overdose have not been documented.

    Interaction:

    When combined with the use of antiviral agents - HIV protease inhibitors (amprenavir, indinavir, nelfinavir, ritonavir, saquinavir), steroid drugs, as well as preparations of cyclosporine, warfarin - there may be a decrease in the effectiveness of these drugs. The drug is able to enhance the photosensitizing effect of other drugs, including. tetracyclines, sulfonamides, thiazide diuretics, quinolones, piroxicam. The drug should be used with caution when using digoxin.

    Special instructions:

    During treatment, UV radiation should be avoided (including a solarium, UV lamp, prolonged exposure to the sun).

    Form release / dosage:

    Powder and cut-pressed grass for 1.5 grams in filter bags.

    Packaging:

    Powder and cut-pressed grass 1,5 g in filter bags, 10 filter bags or 20 filter bags in a pack of cardboard.

    Instructions for use, folded inward, inserted into the package or the text of the instruction is fully applied to the pack.

    Storage conditions:

    In a dry place protected from light; prepared infusion - in a cool place not more than 2 days.

    Keep out of the reach of children!

    Shelf life:

    3 years.

    Do not use after the expiration date printed on the package.
