Description:

Suppositories white or white with a yellowish hue of color, torpedo-shaped. Marble surface is allowed.

Pharmacodynamics:

Hexicon ® is an antiseptic preparation for topical application, is active against the simplest, gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, viruses, including: Treponema pallidum, Chlamidia spp., Ureaplasma spp., Neisseria gonorrhoeae, Trichomonas vaginalis, Gardnerella vaginalis, Bacteroides fragilis, Herpes virus. Some strains are slightly sensitive to the drug Pseudomonas spp., Proteus spp., as well as resistant to acid-fast forms of bacteria, spores of bacteria, fungi. Hexicon® does not interfere with the functional activity of lactobacilli. Keeps activity (albeit somewhat lowered) in the presence of blood, pus.

Pharmacokinetics:

When intravaginal application is almost not absorbed, systemic effect does not.

Indications:

Prevention of sexually transmitted infections (chlamydia, ureaplasmosis, trichomoniasis, gonorrhea, syphilis, genital herpes, etc.).

Prevention of infectious and inflammatory complications in obstetrics-gynecology (before surgical treatmentgynecological diseases, before childbirth and abortion, before and after installation of the intrauterine device (IUD), before and after diathermocoagulation of the cervix, before intrauterine tests).

Treatment of bacterial vaginosis, colpitis (including nonspecific, mixed, trichomonads).

Contraindications:Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.

Pregnancy and lactation:

Possible reception during pregnancy, during lactation.

Dosing and Administration:

Intravaginal. Before use, the suppository is freed from the contoured package.

For treatment: 1 suppository 2 times a day, for 7-10 days.

For the prevention of sexually transmitted infections: 1 suppository not later than 2 hours after unprotected intercourse.

Side effects:Allergic reactions, itching, which occur after the drug cancellation, are possible.

Interaction:

It is not recommended simultaneous application with iodine.

Hexicon ® is not compatible with detergents containing an anionic group (saponins, sodium lauryl sulfate, sodium carboxymethyl cellulose), and soaps, if they are administered intravaginally. The toilet of external genital organs does not affect the efficacy and tolerability of suppositories of vaginalHexicon®, since the drug is administered intravaginally.

Form release / dosage:Suppositories are vaginal.

Packaging:

1 or 5 suppositories are placed in a contour mesh package. One contour mesh package with one suppository and two fingertips, one or two contour packs of 5 suppositories together with instructions for medical use of the drug are placed in a pack of cardboard.

Storage conditions:

At a temperature of no higher than 25 ° C.

Shelf life:
