    Pharmacodynamics:

    Chlorhexidine is active against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, has pronounced antiseptic properties, destroys bacterial plaque, helps reduce inflammation of the mucous membrane of the oral cavity and marginal gingiva.

    Pharmacokinetics:

    Virtually not absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract. After accidental ingestion of 300 mg, the maximum plasma concentration is reached after 30 minutes and is 0.206 μg / l. It is produced mainly with a fecal mass (90%), less than 1% is excreted by the kidneys.

    Indications:

    Gingivitis, periodontitis, stomatitis, damage to the mucous membrane of the oral cavity and gums as a result of surgical interventions (operations on the gums, extraction of teeth, dental implantation), eruptions of non-viral etiology, erosion, bedsores of mucous membranes of the oral cavity, burns of the mucous membrane and marginal gingiva (thermal and chemical,with diathermocoagulation and laser surgery), mucosal and marginal gingival lesions during tooth preparation and retraction before impression removal, worn while wearing removable dentures, orthopedic and orthodontic structures. Amident solution is recommended for oral hygiene, for various interventions (surgical manipulations, removal of periodontal deposits, before injections into the gum of medicines), to remove bacterial plaque in the oral cavity.

    Contraindications:Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug.

    Pregnancy and lactation:

    Safety of use during pregnancy and lactation is not established. It is possible to use the drug when absolutely necessary, when the intended use for the mother exceeds the potential risk to the fetus. If it is necessary to prescribe the drug during lactation, breastfeeding should be discontinued.

    Dosing and Administration:

    It is applied locally. With gingivitis, periodontitis, stomatitis, damages of gums and mucous membranes in the form of oral baths for 1-2 minutes, 5-6 times a day for at least 7 days. The solution should be diluted 1: 1 with water.To do this, Amident® pour into a measuring cup of 2.5 ml of the solution and add an equal amount of boiled water at room temperature. When hygienic measures and before various interventions for 30-60 seconds, intensively rinse the oral cavity. Amident® should be diluted 1: 2. For this should be measured with the attached spoon of 2.5 ml of solution in a glass and add 5 ml of boiled water at room temperature.

    Side effects:

    Allergic reactions.

    Staining of tooth enamel, deposition of tartar, change in taste.

    Overdose:

    In case of accidental ingestion, the drug is practically not absorbed.

    Treatment: should be done by rinsing the stomach using milk, raw egg, gelatin.

    If necessary, symptomatic therapy is performed.
    Interaction:

    Pharmaceutically incompatible with soap, alkalis and other anionic compounds (colloids, gum arabic, carboxymethyl cellulose).

    Compatible with drugs containing a cationic group (benzalkonium chloride, cetrimonium bromide).

    Increases the sensitivity of bacteria to chloramphenicol, neomycin, cephalosporins.

    Ethanol enhances the effectiveness of the drug.

    Special instructions:

    In case of contact with the mucous membranes of the eyes, they should be washed quickly and thoroughly with a large amount of water. It is not recommended simultaneous application with iodine.

    The use of hard water reduces the bactericidal properties of the Amident.

    Form release / dosage:Solution for topical application 0,15%.
    Packaging:For 100 and 150 ml in bottles of lightproof glass. Each bottle together with a measuring spoon and instructions for use in a pack of cardboard.
    Storage conditions:
