Transparent, colorless, mobile liquid with a characteristic smell of alcohol.

Indications:

Treatment of the initial stages of diseases: furuncle, panaritium, mastitis; treatment of the hands of the surgeon (the methods of Fürbringer, Alfred), the operating field (including those with sensitivity to other antiseptics, in children and operations on areas with thin skin in adults - neck, face).

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity.

Pregnancy and lactation:

Special studies of the use of the drug during pregnancy and during breastfeeding were not carried out. In pregnancy and during breastfeeding apply only if the intended benefit to the mother exceeds the potential risk to the fetus and the baby.

Dosing and Administration:

Outer, in the form of lotions. For treatment of the operating field and preoperative disinfection of the hands of the surgeon use 70% solution, for compresses and wipes (to avoid burns) it is recommended to use a 40% solution.

95% solution must be diluted to the required concentrations and used according to indications.

Side effects:

Allergic reactions, skin burns, hyperemia and soreness of the skin at the site of compression.

When used externally, it is partially absorbed through the skin and may have a resorptive general toxic effect (central nervous system depression).

Interaction:

Special studies were not conducted in connection with the use of a medicinal product for external use.

Special instructions:

In external application, ethanol is partially absorbed through the skin and mucous membranes, which must be taken into account when used in children, pregnant women and lactation.

It is necessary to refrain from carrying out potentially dangerous activities requiring special attention and quick reactions (driving and other vehicles, working with moving mechanisms, dispatcher and operator work, etc.).
